Project Overview
Westie Club of the South is a non-profit Westie rescue organization in Marietta, Georgia.
The existing website was outdated and had performance issues. A website redesign was needed to improve performance, provide an appealing design, update content, and add a variety of new features.
The client wanted a public facing section of the site for non club members and private members only section for a membership directory and member only content. The client also wanted a way to easily communicate via email with club members.
Project Features
Website audit to identify and remove outdated and poor performing WordPress plugins.
Web hosting moved to a high quality provider to improve website stability and performance.
Private membership area created to restrict content to Westie club members.
Public facing area created for information on Westie rescues, surrenders, adoptions, and new member enrollment.
Membership functionality added to manage and restrict member only content and assign membership levels to members.
Private section of the site included a member directory and blog for news, adoption stories, and other member content.
On-page SEO optimization to improve online visibility for Westie rescues, surrenders, and adoption.
Performance enhancements to improve website load time.
MailChimp email marketing service setup to facilitate communication among members.

Theresa first designed and launched the new website and then methodically worked with us to steadily resolve all the rechnical issues in backend. I trully appreciate the level of ownership that Theresa has for the work she does. She also work with all the interfaces (like hosting companies, plugin vendors, etc.) on our behalf.
